LaLiga is backing audio content by launching two podcasts
  • With episodes available on Spotify, Ivoox and Apple Podcasts, LaLiga has launched a comprehensive podcasts project to provide football fans with the best content.
  • Since January, LaLiga has been releasing ‘Minuto 20’ every Tuesday, which is a review of the previous LaLiga Santander matchday complete with comments from the stars themselves.
  • There is also a new podcast coming out every Wednesday, called ‘Arquitectos’, with this space allowing members of LaLiga clubs’ sporting departments to chat in a relaxed setting.

As part of LaLiga’s efforts to broaden communication horizons and to adapt to evolving consumption habits, such as the consumption of information in audio format, two official LaLiga podcasts have been launched: ‘Minuto 20’ and ‘Arquitectos’ (‘Minute 20’ and ‘Architects’, in English).

As of January, LaLiga has been releasing ‘Minuto 20’ every Tuesday, with this podcast consisting of a review of the previous LaLiga Santander matchday through declarations from the stars themselves, with each episode lasting 20 minutes.

Now, from Wednesday February 8th onwards, the ‘Arquitectos’ podcast is also available. This is a space for members of the LaLiga clubs’ sporting departments to chat and discuss their work some more, with these episodes coming out each Wednesday.

That podcast will be available every Wednesday at 14:00 on Spotify, Ivoox and Apple Podcasts, as directors from the LaLiga clubs are interviewed with the aim of bringing fans closer to everything related to the sporting management side of running a football club, while the show will also highlight LaLiga’s management models.

Roberto Olabe is the first ‘architect’

The first guest on 'Arquitectos' is Real Sociedad’s director of football, Roberto Olabe. In this first episode, he speaks about the methodology he has implemented for the technical direction of the San Sebastián club since his arrival, the importance they place on dual training and the role of first-team coach Imanol Alguacil in developing the youth talents, among many other interesting topics.

In the next episode, the setting will be Burgos, where Burgos CF sporting director Miguel Pérez Cuesta, better known as Michu, will open up on the sporting management of the Castile and León club.

This is how LaLiga has launched its first two official podcasts, with LaLiga continuing to identity and develop new formats for providing more content to football fans all around the world.
