From static to dynamic advertising: Burgos CF launch U-Virtual Television advertising at El Plantío to boost brand presence

Burgos CF have made an important investment with a view to achieving a greater return from advertisers and sponsors. What Burgos CF have done is install some U-Virtual Television advertising, the name for the dynamic advertising on a board which runs around the side of the pitch. Until now, El Plantío had static advertising boards, but in March, when they faced Levante UD in LALIGA HYPERMOTION Matchday 31, the club launched these dynamic boards with their LED technology, thus improving the offering to advertisers and sponsors.

Thanks to the work carried out with Burgos-based company Quality Sound, Burgos CF now have this U-Virtual Television technology. This undoubtedly improves what they can offer advertisers and sponsors, making the form of advertising much more attractive, as it can better impact fans watching on TV and those at El Plantío. As such, the club will be able to increase income, thanks to this capacity to showcase more brands than before.

Burgos CF opted for LED technology for this update, which will consist of two phases. The first phase will see the technology installed in the side stands, the longest and most visible on a TV broadcast, while the second phase will see it installed in the stands behind the goals for the 2024/25 season. The installation of this LED technology is part of an overall modernisation plan that the club put together to improve the stadium.

At the club, they understand that this investment will allow them to offer a better service to the brands that choose to work with them. This overhaul also makes it possible to offer a better experience to fans and supporters on matchdays, and to the almost 1.5 million followers they have on social media.

Burgos CF explained: “With this investment, the club will have a wider range of offers for potential sponsors, as we will not have to limit ourselves to the physical space available at the stadium. In addition, the way we advertise is no longer static, making it more attractive to potential investors, increasing the number of them.”

Furthermore, this modernisation process should boost the fan experience at El Plantío. The club stated: “From the fan’s point of view, the stadium becomes more dynamic and livelier, which helps to entertain the supporters and which encourages them to cheer more. The television experience is also improved, as the animated advertising attracts more attention and complements the production better by keeping the viewer’s attention.”

Finally, Burgos CF also stated that they will continue to redevelop and invest in the stadium. “The plan is to continue investing in improvements to the stadium. For example, LED technology is also being considered for the concourses. In addition, we are also considering the option of introducing digital billboards to continue adding dynamic elements in the areas near the pitch.”
