NFL 49ers introduce living room seating

 

New seating concepts can generate substantial return-on-investment by offering ultra-premium guest experience, combined with unique sponsorship platforms.  The San Francisco 49ers (NFL) have taken this idea to another level via the introduction of reclining chairs (produced by Barcelona-based Figueras) directly on the sideline, bundled with access to an exclusive lounge, all-inclusive premium food & beverage, preferred parking and the best seat in the house (or at least the seats closest to the players and the field).  Read more HERE.

Here’s a wonderful story from the NY Times, ‘The Opposite of Airlines’: When Larger Audiences Require Fewer Seats.  The reference is opera, but is something to think about in the context of premium seats in sports stadiums.
