Unscrupulous secondary platforms can end up providing a disservice to your fans

Secondary ticketing is an opportunity for clubs to continue to sell full season tickets to the next generation of fans by providing a platform where they can re-sell their tickets on the open market.  With new technology that eliminates the possibility of screen shots, clubs can funnel all of their secondary traffic to their own platforms.  This approach will allow the clubs to capture the data of the second buyer, collect additional revenues and, critically, increase occupancy by re-positioning secondary sales as a service for their season ticket customers who do not have the time or inclination to attend all games.

As it stands, unscrupulous secondary platforms can end up providing a disservice to your fans.  Consider this story from UK’s The Guardian.  Wouldn’t it be better to control secondary sales by utilizing technology such as Ticketmaster’s SafeTix, which you can read about from Extra Crunch HERE.
