Recent reports in Billboard and several other media outlets reported that Ticketmaster will require concert and sports fans to prove vaccination or a negative COVID test within 24-72 hours prior to event, or will be denied entry.  Since those reports, Ticketmaster has clarified that the event organizer or promoter will decide entry requirements, that must adhere to local health authority regulations.  Nonetheless, the software behind the verification process is why we want to bring this to the attention of CX Monthly’s readers – although concerns have been raised about privacy of a person’s private health records, it is quite impressive.  In our view, this is an innovative approach to overcoming the psychological resistance that many people will have to returning to big events with big crowds.
