Arena funding was raised by leveraging pre-sale of partnerships and premium hospitality (generating substantial non-recourse debt capacity), as well as equity contributed by the club and OVG, many industry observers remained skeptical given the $1B+ price tag. But OVG’s creative approach to partnerships generated extraordinarily high revenues (far beyond typical arenas).  Instead of emphasizing impressions via signage that would appear on television and amplified on social media, all partnerships are rooted in providing a platform to tell the partners’ story, in a non-intrusive manner that pleases and adds value to the guest experience.
