In the UK, while socially-distanced audiences are able to attend theaters, music and performance venues (and pubs), sports events continue to be off limits.  This has frustrated the EPL, EFL and several other sports bodies, who recently sent an open letter to the Government calling for equal treatment with the arts.  However, so far, the UK government’s stance is that sports events pose a much higher risk.
