Five Covid-19 lessons for the sports industry (that it should have known already)

The complete shutdown of live sport during the coronavirus pandemic has created unique conditions for the next few months, but it has also confirmed challenges that preceded the current crisis.

COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on the sports industry.  At the same time, sports leagues and clubs are beginning to embrace the pandemic as an opportunity to think differently.  It is no longer feasible to resist change, as  the pandemic is forcing all of us to adapt to the “new normal,” take some (calculated) risks, develop great content and understanding that our fans have lives beyond football.
